Ceramic Plate (Kadamba Dynasty Coin)

The Kadamba Dynasty, which ruled parts of Goa from the 4th to 14th centuries CE, issued coins that provide insights into the region's history and culture during their reign. These coins, found in archaeological excavations, feature distinctive designs and motifs that reflect the artistic traditions of the time, including elements of Kaavi art, a unique mural painting technique prevalent in Goan temples and homes.
